Paul Sohi has proudly called Vero Beach home for more than 15 years. With over 30 years of experience in pediatric dentistry and oral surgery, he brings real-world healthcare expertise and a commitment to serving the people of District 34.
Paul is focused on lowering healthcare costs, improving access to care for seniors and families, protecting constitutional freedoms, defending property rights, reforming Florida's Live Local Act, and restoring transparency and accountability in government.
He believes government should work for the people, not special interests, and that every resident of District 34 deserves a strong voice in Tallahassee.
Your Voice. Your Future. Your Florida
Paul Sohi is running to bring accountability, transparency, and real leadership back to Indian River County. For too long, career politicians have treated public office like a permanent position instead of a responsibility to serve the people. While leaders in Washington are finally exposing waste, corruption, and the entrenched bureaucracy that has harmed this country for decades, those reforms are not reaching the county level.
Indian River County deserves leadership that will fight for taxpayers, demand transparency, and ensure our community receives its fair share of state funding and resources.
Florida is growing rapidly, and billions of dollars are flowing into the state. Other counties are aggressively fighting to bring those resources home for infrastructure, safety, and community improvements. Indian River County has been left behind by politicians who have become disconnected from the people they represent.
Paul Sohi believes elected officials should be accessible, accountable, and willing to challenge the system when it fails the people.
This campaign is about protecting conservative values, bringing Trump's national policies to a local level, restoring trust, fighting waste, and making sure Indian River County is no longer ignored.
Paul Sohi is not a career politician — and that’s exactly why he’s running as a Florida House District 34 candidate. As a longtime member of the Vero Beach community and a successful professional, he understands the challenges that real people face, especially as we approach the Indian River County elections 2026. Paul believes in Faith, Family, Freedom, and prioritizing the needs of the people of District 34 over political insiders, corporations, and special interests. He is committed to advocating for reforms like the Florida Live Local Act, ensuring that the voices of residents are heard in Fellsmere Florida politics and beyond.
District 34 deserves leadership that puts people ahead of politics and special interests. Too often, decisions affecting our communities are made without meaningful input from the residents who must live with the consequences.
Paul Sohi is running to restore transparency, accountability, and common-sense leadership to Tallahassee. He believes government should serve hardworking families, seniors, small business owners, farmers, and property owners throughout Vero Beach, Sebastian, Fellsmere, and all of District 34.

District 34. Florida First. America First.

Too many people feel shut out of local government. Decisions are often made behind closed doors, public officials become inaccessible, and taxpayers are left wondering where their money is going.
Paul Sohi believes government works for the people — not the other way around.
He supports greater transparency in county spending, open communication with residents, easier public access to government information, and stronger oversight of taxpayer dollars.
He believes elected officials should be visible, accessible, and accountable to the citizens they represent. Public office is a public trust, not a lifetime entitlement.
This campaign is about restoring confidence in local leadership and making sure Indian River County has leaders who fight for the people, not the political establishment.
The Second Amendment is not a privilege granted by government. It is a fundamental constitutional right guaranteed to every law-abiding American.
Paul Sohi is a strong supporter of the Second Amendment and believes Floridians have the right to protect themselves, their families, and their communities. He opposes efforts to weaken constitutional freedoms and believes government should focus on prosecuting violent criminals rather than restricting the rights of responsible citizens.
As a lifelong supporter of firearm ownership, responsible gun ownership, and personal accountability, Paul Sohi will fight to preserve Florida's proud tradition of freedom, self-reliance, and constitutional liberty. He believes our rights are worth defending, and future generations deserve the same freedoms protected by those who came before us.
Paul Sohi also recognizes the importance of preserving America's firearms heritage. He supports expanding gunsmithing certification and vocational training programs through community colleges and technical schools, creating skilled career opportunities while addressing the growing shortage of qualified gunsmiths and strengthening an important American industry.
For Paul Sohi, protecting the Second Amendment means defending constitutional rights while preserving the traditions, skills, and opportunities that help keep those freedoms alive.
After more than three decades in pediatric dentistry and oral surgery, Paul Sohi has witnessed firsthand the challenges families and seniors face navigating today's healthcare system.
Healthcare costs continue to rise, prescription medications become increasingly unaffordable, and many seniors are forced to choose between essential medications and everyday necessities.
Paul believes Florida needs more healthcare professionals involved in healthcare policymaking. He will advocate for greater affordability, increased transparency in healthcare pricing, improved access to care, and policies that help seniors maintain their independence and quality of life.
For too long, healthcare decisions have been made by individuals with little clinical experience. District 34 deserves a representative who understands the healthcare system from the inside and will fight for patients, families, and seniors.
Growth is coming to Indian River County, but growth must be managed responsibly. Paul believes development should benefit residents rather than special interests. He supports smart growth policies that protect neighborhoods, preserve community character, address traffic concerns, and ensure infrastructure keeps pace with expansion before approvals are granted.
He also believes responsible planning is essential to maintaining access to healthcare services, emergency response capabilities, and the quality of life that attracts families and retirees to District 34.
Indian River County's population continues to grow, but roads, drainage systems, and transportation infrastructure have struggled to keep up.
Paul believes infrastructure planning must occur before overdevelopment, not after. He supports prioritizing investments in roads, stormwater systems, bridge maintenance, and transportation improvements that directly benefit residents.
He will work aggressively to secure state funding and ensure District 34 receives its fair share of infrastructure resources while planning for future growth and emergency preparedness.
Families, retirees, and small business owners throughout Florida are facing increasing financial pressure from rising property taxes and skyrocketing insurance premiums.
Paul Sohi believes government must practice fiscal discipline and protect taxpayers from being priced out of their homes and communities. He supports property tax relief, insurance reform, and greater accountability in government spending.
As someone who has operated healthcare practices and managed businesses, he understands the real-world impact of rising costs and will advocate for practical solutions that help families keep more of their hard-earned money.
The Indian River Lagoon, local waterways, beaches, and natural resources are among District 34's greatest assets.
Paul supports responsible environmental stewardship based on science, accountability, and common sense. He believes protecting water quality requires better infrastructure, responsible growth management, and proactive environmental maintenance.
Protecting our environment also protects public health, tourism, recreation, and future generations. Economic growth and environmental responsibility can, and must, work together.
Every family deserves to feel safe in their homes, neighborhoods, schools, and businesses.
Paul Sohi strongly supports law enforcement, first responders, and emergency personnel who put themselves in harm's way to protect our communities. He believes public safety agencies should have the training, staffing, and resources necessary to perform their duties effectively.
At the same time, he believes strong communities are built on trust, transparency, and accountability. Safe communities support economic growth, protect families, and ensure seniors can continue to enjoy an active and secure quality of life.
As both a healthcare professional and community leader, Paul understands that public safety and public health go hand in hand. Strong communities require both.

Over the past several months, many residents across our community have reached out to me with questions about where I stand on the Second Amendment and what actions I would take if elected.
I am a strong and unapologetic supporter of the Second Amendment. For me, this is not just a political position. It is a way of life. As a long time NRA member, a concealed carry holder, and an active participant in trap shooting at the Indian River County Shooting Range, I believe deeply in the rights of law abiding citizens to protect themselves and their families.
But supporting the Second Amendment also means taking a thoughtful and responsible approach to policy.
If elected, I will work to advance legislation that strengthens Florida’s constitutional carry framework, reinforces statewide preemption so that local governments cannot erode fundamental rights, and expands reciprocity with other states. At the same time, I am committed to ensuring that any firearm related policies fully respect due process and protect citizens from government overreach.
I also believe it is time to think forward.
That is why I will introduce legislation to make firearm liability insurance easily accessible and affordable for everyday Floridians. Responsible gun owners should have the ability to protect themselves from accidental liability and potential litigation, just as we do with auto insurance. This is about empowering responsible ownership while providing an added layer of protection for families.
At its core, this issue is not about choosing between rights and responsibility.
We can and must do both.
We can defend the Second Amendment, support responsible gun owners, and keep our communities strong at the same time.

The Live Local Act was meant to make housing more affordable for Floridians. Instead, it is being misused in ways that hurt our communities.
Developers are taking advantage of the system by offering lower rents initially, only to raise them to market rates shortly after. At the same time, counties and cities are left without real oversight or the ability to step in. This is not affordability. It is a loophole being exploited.
Even more concerning, the Act is pushing families toward long term rentership instead of homeownership. True opportunity comes from owning a home, building equity, and creating stability for future generations.
My position is clear. We must amend the Live Local Act to focus on homeownership, not rental loopholes, and restore accountability so local communities have a voice.
This is about fairness. This is about protecting our communities. And this is about putting people ahead of special interests.
It is time to fix what is broken and put people first.

For too long, healthcare decisions have been made by politicians, bureaucrats, and corporate interests who have never treated a patient.
After more than 30 years in pediatric dentistry and oral surgery, Paul Sohi has seen firsthand how rising healthcare costs, limited access to care, and a lack of price transparency are hurting families and seniors throughout Florida.
Too many Floridians are struggling to afford prescription medications, medical treatments, and insurance premiums. Seniors who worked hard their entire lives should not have to choose between paying for healthcare and paying their bills.
Paul believes healthcare should be more affordable, more accessible, and more transparent. Patients deserve to know what care costs, have access to quality providers, and receive treatment based on what is best for them—not what is best for insurance companies or government bureaucracies.
As your representative, Paul will bring something desperately needed in Tallahassee: real-world healthcare experience. He will fight for policies that lower costs, improve access to care, strengthen healthcare services for seniors, and put patients first.
Healthcare is not a political issue. It is a quality-of-life issue.
It is time to put patients before politics and bring common sense back to healthcare.
